Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a DBA
- 2+ years of experience with Cockroach DB (experience building out, troubleshooting, performance tuning, production support, high availability monitoring, etc.)
- Experience in installation, configuration, monitoring & troubleshooting large scale distributed databases
- Debugging skills & ability to troubleshoot methodically, identifying & applying fixes for known errors, capacity to think outside of the box to resolve complex issues
- Scripting/automation tooling (bash/python/Ansible/Terraform) experience
- Experienced in CI/CD, DevOps using tools like Udeploy, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Git, ECS, Docker
- Experience with Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus & integration with ServiceNow
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge in REST APIs, ability to read documentation & make calls to read or write data using API
- MongoDB / NoSQL database skills preferred
