Primary Purpose:
Develop, advise and implement human resources information system (HRIS) strategic solutions in support of Human Resources and company business information needs. Provide technical and analytical expertise in the areas of data integrity, specialized data knowledge, and application reporting. Utilize qualitative and quantitative measurement and data collection design principles and draw logical conclusions.
Duties and Responsibilities:

* Function as technical expert to Human Resources (HR) organization regarding information systems to consult, advise, implement strategies, methods, and tactics related to HR data. In conjunction with HR leaders, IT, and external clients, design and develop company reports. Generates reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assists in development of standard reports for ongoing needs. Maintains data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data. Act in a lead capacity to train, mentor, and support the HR staff in preparing self-serve reports and extracts. Proactively and regularly meet with HR subject matter experts to gather input on reporting requirements. Ensure timely communication and training of client enhancements to existing systems and with new project development. Responsibility for regular updates, changes, and modifications to reports.

* Research and develop procedures to ensure data integrity. Identify issues and coordinate with various departments to implement solutions or alternative methods to reporting. Recommend new HR technology solutions to support continuous improvement. Serve as central point of contact between Information Technology and Human Resources in areas of reporting/data integrity. Understand and analyze clients’ business and HRIS needs to ensure effective solutions that respond to current and future needs. Consult with Human Resources and external client groups on complex projects. Set and manage project expectations, issues and assess risks to mitigate impact to baseline. Analyze and establish methodology to strategically and tactically implement model(s) for data analysis. Provide project team leadership in the analysis and development to support Human Resources initiatives.

* Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).


Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, human resources, or equivalent related training and experience.
* 10 years experience with data management systems, and advanced knowledge report writing tools. Related experience in report and interface design and development. Experience with SQL, SharePoint and Advanced Excel, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) skills.
* Experience with Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Data Services preferred.
* Conceptual knowledge of information technologies and methodologies in applications, including databases.
* Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks.
* Strong verbal and written communications skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and understand and gather business requirements.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee and company information required.
* Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to manage complex requests and multiple competing priorities within tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in a lead capacity with project management experience.
* Experience with PowerBI and Azure.
* Human Resources or related technical certification.
* Experience with Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Data Services preferred.
