Full Time Loader LaVergne TN

Bimbo Bakeries USA La Vergne Full-Time

Load product trays/baskets onto
trays or basket dollies for subsequent loading
onto the transports that will bring product to the depots for individual route
distribution. Trays/basketsare off-loaded at a typical rate of roughly 15 per
minute or 900 per hour.
Placement of trays or baskets as high as 7’6” to
the top shelf or 6’ 10” depending on transport rack design, or up to 20 baskets high (buns) or 16 baskets high (bread) on the basket dollies.

May be required to often make a shorter worker climb up on either a portable step

stool or the rack itself to facilitate tray/basket loading at the

racks’/dolly’s upper levels. The Loader’s job represents a blend of internally paced (loading the trays

according to order requirements) and externally paced (ensuring the loading

process is sufficiently rapid to prevent the conveyor system from backing up

with product baskets/trays. Take appropriate action to ensure the integrity and
sustained

certification of the SQF system. Responsible for reporting and taking any
necessary action to prevent

food safety and food quality problems from occurring. Responsible for following
and enforcing procedures outlined in the Food

Safety Plan and the Food Quality Plan and any other programs that support the

SQF system and other 3rd party audits. Manufacturing Transformation
Requirements:

knowledge and understanding of OEE (overall Equipment Effectiveness)Display

Sustaining

Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must be able to work any hours and holidays.
Must be able to work varied shifts.
Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, squat, twist,
kneel, and reach.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Follow Personal Protective Equipment
(PPE) guidelines- equipment required will include hair nets, ear plugs,
safety glasses, safety shoes.
