Established Sacramento law firm seeks talented litigation legal secretary to join its team
. Legal Secretary must have at least 3 years of litigation legal secretary experience. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a full benefits package and competitive salary.
Litigation Legal Secretary responsibilities include:
- Preparing, revising, and formatting legal documents
- Managing the calendar for all the attorneys
- Knowledge of state and federal court deadlines
- State and federal court filings
- Trial Preparation
- TOA/TOC
- Assist with attorney time entry
- Preparing expense reports
- Travel arrangements
Successful candidates for the Legal Secretary role are professional and courteous with a positive attitude. Additional requirements of the Legal Secretary role include:
- 3+ years of experience as a litigation legal secretary/administrative assistant
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to calendar manually and look up codes
- Experience with iManage and Westlaw is a huge plus
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of e-filing is a must
- Strong knowledge of filing deadlines
