Today, Piedmont Plastics has an exceptional opportunity for a Human Resources/Learning Management System Coordinator. Located at our home office in Charlotte, NC, this position will manage the Piedmont Plastic's Learning Management System in a way that provides extensive employee development opportunities and fulfills the company’s mission of having “the most knowledgeable workforce in the plastics distribution industry”, while at the same time providing administrative support for the Human Resources team.

In this position, you will be required to:

  • Manage issues, support configuration, setup, ongoing operation, maintenance, usage, and analysis of the LMS
  • Continuously improve on the design and usability of the overall user interface of the LMS
  • Data entry of instructor led training (ILT) into the LMS
  • Preserve objective evidence and training documentation for all users
  • Develop and deliver monthly/weekly reports that are concise, intuitive, and actionable for organizational users and managers
  • File training records digitally onto an Sharpoint site and manage the Training Library
  • Event coordination for internal/external training events (hotels, dinners, lunches, etc.)
  • Manage the years of service award program, including the printing and distributing of anniversary letters
  • Coordinate branch special events
  • Support the Human Resources team as requested
  • Verify employment of current and past employees according to policy
  • Responsible for personnel files which includes filing, pulling files for viewing and shredding

To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have;

  • Requires an Associate' Degree (or related combination of education and experience) in a business related field of study
  • Experience using learning management systems is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with eLearning Development applications  (e.g., StoryLine, Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia)
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and supplier partners
  • Experience working within a HRIS system
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Proven project management experience with the ability to prioritize, manage, and complete multiple projects with tight deadlines
