Job Description

Teksystems is partnering with a major company in Peoria, IL; we are assisting them with staffing their Help Desk.
All candidates must be able to work W-2 directly with TEKsystems

Top Three Skills: 1. 1-2 years experience supporting desktop with 800+ end-users.
2. 1-2 years experience configuring and loading software on a PC and providing desktop support
3. 1-2 years experience supporting, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to printers (they have Xerox in their environment), hardware and software.
Job Description: This person will be joining an established team to support. They will be part of the level 1 support for the technical issues that come into the These issues could be anything from Windows issues, to passwords, to printer mapping. They must have the ability to multi task as well as deliver excellent customer service to the employees calling in with issues.

Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, SharePoint etc.)
* Basic understanding of computer hardware and desktop software
* With assistance documents incidents and service request into the Service Desk Management Tool
* Strong Documentation skills
* Ability to categorize and assign issues to correct support groups
* Some experience with computer troubleshooting, analysis, critical thinking and problem solving
* Demonstrated ability and desire to learn organizational specific applications, technology and terminology.
* Demonstrated ability to learn customer support processes and techniques.
* Ability to effectively communicate via telephone and email
* Ability to express ideas in easily understandable terms
