Assist in the efficient daily operations of the office.
Performs duties including but not limited to the following:
Support all underwriting processes.
Accounting including but not limited to the following:
Account statement reconciliation
Agent Email/Commission access
Mailings including assisting with claim payment mailings
Assumed business bordereau processing
Customer Service including but not limited to the following:
Assist with other duties and necessary and/or assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School or GED required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Working knowledge of general office practices to include filing.
Knowledge of insurance industry, company products and services and insurance terminology.
Ability to effectively communicate and maintain professional business relationships with company personnel, outside resources, and customers.
Must be organized, have an attention to detail and ability to proofread documents and reports.
Basic math and accounting skills.
Solid Microsoft Excel & Word skills.
Desktop PC acumen/AS400 knowledge a plus.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work from oral or written communication.
Must be work independently and in a team environment to support other areas as necessary.
