Quality Control Technician

USPRO Reno, NV (Onsite) Full-Time
Derived Salary: $67K - $95K/Year
Full-Time Quality Control
Monday - Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
Hourly Starting Rate - $20 depending on skill level and experience
Opportunity for pay increase depending on performance.

Job Description:
Our client is a global supplier and manufacturer of radomes and other custom composite structures.
We are seeking an experienced Composites Quality Inspector for our Reno, Nevada manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities
-Manage and improve quality system to ensure on-time/on-budget delivery of products.
-Utilize equipment and tools to inspect, test, and sample materials, parts or products.
-Conduct visual and mechanical measurements to ensure that products meet quality standards
-Approve finished products prior to packing.
-Document inspection results by completing forms, and inputting data.
-Discuss results and findings and recommend corrective actions.
-Assess in-process methods and recommend improvement to ensure quality standards are met.
-Other duties as assigned.

Credentials
-Familiar with ISO quality assurance practices and procedures
-Knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office applications
-Effective oral and written communication skills
-Skill and Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment to meet production goals and dates
-Ability to interpret engineering documents, drawings and other production documents.
-Detail oriented, to detect defects and ensure quality standards are met
-Self-directed, self-motivated and flexible
-Maintain quality and production records, organize documents, and track information
-Ability to communicate effectively with all skill levels
-Demonstrate professionalism in a team-driven environment

Education, Experience, and Certification:
-Previous experience in QA position or related area required.
-Experience in using measuring tools and devices.
-Experience working with ISO 9001 system or similar.
-High School Diploma.
