As a Staff Accountant in the Project and Financial Accounting group, you will be primarily responsible for key accounting and reporting-related roles within the department. You will be a key member in an evolving accounting department function focused on supporting operational and financial decision-makers.

This position is based out of Omaha, NE. This is a shared service environment in a professional office setting.
+ Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports for accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
+ Assist in various project and financial accounting tasks as part of the quarterly and year-end close processes
+ Assist project and financial accounting managers with other accounting-related matters, ad hoc requests, and special projects
+ Review work of other accountants in the department
+ Support internal and external auditors as needed
+ Collaborate with other home office and district departments as necessary
+ Prepare footnotes for parent and subsidiary financial statements

+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
+ Strong analytical skills. Ability to analyze underlying principles, reasons or facts surrounding financial reports
+ Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to quickly adapt to field-based operational practices
+ Excellent organizational skills, including ability to plan and prioritize work, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
+ Understanding of U.S. GAAP
+ Certified Public Accountant preferred
