**Job Description:**

**SUMMARY**

Reporting to GAF's StreetBond business unit Sales Leader, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a performance-focused outside sales and marketing support role with front-line customer engagement opportunities. As such, s/he will provide disciplined, process-driven sales results to grow the StreetBond operating unit.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES:**

_Business Development & Growth Innovation_

+ Working closely with both Sales and Marketing teams, identify and cultivate long-term/strategic customer leads and prepare for handoff to sales closing professionals (Account Executives)

+ Drive outbound sales & marketing efforts through identification, assessment, and professional outreach to potential strategic customers across the US (with regional orientation)

+ Support efforts to create and deploy a customer relationship management (CRM) infrastructure to aid communication-including leads hand-off-among all members of the sales and marketing teams

+ Be accountable for meeting business objectives regarding strategic customer outreach and relationship management, sustainable volume (top of funnel), and conversion of relationships and leads to top-line revenue growth

+ Prepare and deliver strategic customer training and development offerings like "Lunch and Learns" to drive increased brand and product awareness and attractiveness

+ Support team members in developing a positive, sustainable, and success-based culture within the business development area

+ Ability to assist with hands on training and job starts, competency with material application techniques

+ COLLABORATION in customer and peer interactions while retaining accountability for individual results

+ INFLUENCE with potential customers through mastery of our product line specifications and use cases

+ BREADTH in dealing with diverse customer bases on their own terms

+ FLEXIBILITY in thinking at a high-level while digging into the details (i.e., drive Strategic objectives while executing tactically)

+ PROACTIVENESS is identifying and addressing business needs that match customer expectations

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:**

_Required Qualifications_

+ A successful track record and proven adeptness at professional business development in a growing organization, preferably within the building materials/infrastructure space

+ Expertise in strategic/long-term customer relationship development and management-specifically customer/industry training and development activities

+ Experience with modern sales and marketing approaches (including typical tools, e.g., Salesforce)

+ Deftness in identifying potential customer needs that are best addressed through our innovative products and services

+ Ability to develop, communicate, and persuade stakeholders even in the face of extreme skepticism, risk, and uncertainty

Travel Requirements: Partnership with Account Executives, up to 50% travel
