Job Description

Kelly Services is seeking a Science and Statistics Research Intern for our client, an Agricultural company in Indianapolis, IN. This role is a summer contract that can be flexible dates depending on candidate availability. Summary: We are looking for an intern in a STEM field that is passionate about applying data to support business decisions.  Under the direction and training of a team member, the summer intern is responsible for organizing and analyzing chemistry data related to formulated products.    Skills that will be obtained include: formulation data analysis, graphing information, working with data, interpreting data and summarizing the data in presentation and reports.     The ideal candidate needs to be able to collaborate closely with other team member as well as work independently on assigned tasks. Good communication and time management skills are essential to this role.    Who can benefit from this internship: Candidates with a pending degree in science (Chemistry, Biology, etc…), IT, or mathematics will find tasks and responsibilities that can benefit their studies including:  working with chemistry formulation data and seeing how it is implemented to make industry decisions, statistical analysis and graphing of real world data points that will affect business outcomes.   Requirements: • Students in a math, IT, or science-related discipline are preferred.   Important information:   This position is recruited by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.
