Job Responsibilities

* Responsible for Equipment Reliability of plant Electrical and Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) systems
* Provide technical expertise in the identification, investigation, and resolution of plant operating, safety, and design issues to ensure equipment reliability and availability
* Monitor, trend, and assess systems and components to improve equipment reliability
* Establish system performance for designated systems. Identify and prioritize corrective actions to ensure system safety, reliability, and availability
* Lead cross-functional teams to manage/resolve system performance issues and perform system walk downs
* Ensure system readiness and compliance with design / license basis

Job Specific Qualifications

Required Skills:

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering

Excellent written & oral communication skills

Ability to support shift work during plant outages and emergent situations

Ability to meet Nuclear requirements for Unescorted Site Access and access industrial areas of nuclear power plant

Desired Skills:

5+ years Nuclear Power Plant Engineering and/or equivalent experience

Current or Previous SRO license/certification

Masters Degree

US Navy Nuclear experience

Experience managing reliability of electrical/I&C systems and components

Experience managing projects and/or external vendors

The title and market reference point assigned to the successful candidate will be determined by assessing skills and related experience from the interview process

Education

Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
