Entry Level Litigation Paralegal

Bernstein Liebhard LLP New York, NY (Onsite) Full-Time
Derived Salary: $70K - $150K/Year

Bernstein Liebhard LLP seeking a motivated entry level Litigation Paralegal for our mass torts department.


The position involves significant client interaction and case review. The successful candidate must be well organized, with a strong attention to detail, have strong time management skills, possess excellent oral and written communication skills and be comfortable corresponding with clients, the courts and opposing counsel. You will be responsible for drafting legal documents, electronic filing and service of court documents, reviewing and responding to discovery requests, corresponding with clients, and other general case management duties. This position is excellent for a motivated candidate seeking a career in law.


A successful candidate should possess a bachelors degree, legal office experience, and have a demonstrated ability to handle significant and varied responsibilities.


Skills/Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Sincere interest in helping injured people;
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite, Word, Excel, and the Internet);
  • Ability to handle client confidentiality;
  • Effectively and efficiently multitask and prioritize tasks;
  • Pleasant and professional phone manner and positive attitude;
  • Flexible and reliable;
  • Ability to take ownership of assignments and work independently, as well as in a team environment;
