Structural Response M&S Analyst
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or similar discipline, experience with Abaqus, Python, experience with structural analysis for both metallic materials and composites.
- Experience with common Aerospace industry materials and practices for designing flight vehicles
- General knowledge of Python, C/C++, or Fortran
- Experience presenting to customers
- Willingness to work on government customer site
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with composite materials micro-mechanics
- Experience with structural dynamic and thermal analysis, transient loading, nonlinear implicit and explicit analysis
- Constitutive material modeling experience
- Experience with CFD codes, multi-physics analysis
- Experience with additional DoD/Industry standard FEM tools
Location: This role is based in the Huntsville, AL area, and is 100% onsite.
