Job Description

Our client, a Denver law firm, has an immediate opening for a Transactional Legal Assistant.  This is a newly created position for a busy and growing group.  Salary based upon experience, with excellent benefits.   Qualifications: - Qualified candidate must be a self-starter and a proactive thinker with the ability to effectively organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints - A high degree of attention to detail is a must - Possess a minimum of three years' experience in a business office environment, preferably a law office - An intermediate level of experience on Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, and Excel and type 70 wpm - TABS, PracticeMaster, or other similar billing and case management systems experience preferred Responsibilities: - Prepare and proofread complex contracts, correspondence, memos and other types of documents from written and/or oral drafts from the attorneys - Work directly with our transaction attorneys to meet client and internal timelines - Management and coordinate of detailed client projects - Prepare and file legal documents with courts and other appropriate entities - Be responsive to and reinforce positive relationships and communication with our clients EOE/M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity.
