Are you looking for an opportunity to use your organizational skills and to work with a variety of people? OfficeTeam has an opening for a General Office Clerk who can do just that! This essential role performs various administrative support tasks, which includes operating office equipment and completing general clerical work. This role is a short term temporary position for a General Office Clerk based in East Windsor, New Jersey. Key responsibilities - Exercise proper data entry, word processing, filing, scanning, copying, and faxing - Offer a warm face for customers - Deliver support on diverse employee projects as necessary - Place and receive telephone calls - Deliver warm, hospitable customer service accurately according to appropriate time frames - Offer help with front desk and receptionist duties - Emphasize proper formatting and style when drafting correspondence

Job Requirements

- Experience handling office equipment - Be able to adapt and thrive in constantly changing environments - Employer recommends 1 year of Office Clerk experience for this position - Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills - Experience with Word and Excel - A high school diploma or its equivalent is required for this position - navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience desired - Knowledge of data entry - Foundational knowledge in customer service - Deep understanding of records maintenance - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must - Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment
