If you are seeking a Financial Analyst in which you could utilize your background in finance and excellent communication skills, Robert Half Finance may have the role you're looking for. An influential company is seeking candidates to join their growing team. Duties include conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. This Financial Analyst role, which is located in the Louisville, Kentucky, is a full-time employment opportunity. Join an innovative team as a key business partner in this excellent opportunity. Ideal candidate must be proficient in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. Responsibilities - Work closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans - Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly and quarterly financial close process - Propel monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions necessary - Work alongside senior executives on strategic deep dives to create financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, event tracking and execution, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, and strategic resource allocation, and prioritization - Gather and oversee forecasting reports - The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations - Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending - Drive P L forecasting and Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis - Keep track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations and enabling business partners to handle their resources - Recognize potential risks and opportunities while analyzing performance to date - Provide valuable foresight and decision support through effective Business Intelligence (BI)

Job Requirements

- Financial planning analysis (go-to-market experience preferable) - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - 2+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions - Command of Microsoft Excel - Budget forecasting experience desired - Experience with inventory planning reporting - Financial reporting experience - Analysis experience - Spreadsheet and ERP system experience suggested - Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds - Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required - Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
