Loss Prevention-Repo teammate are responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls for accounts that have been assigned out to a repossession agent. These accounts include Automobiles, Motorcycles, RV's, Boats and Mobile homes. When talking to our clients we would be trying to get them to make a payment to prevent the repossession from occurring in the first place, or we would be walking them thru the process of redeeming the vehicle if it has already been repossessed.   The job is not as simple as taking payments over the phone. Repo teammates have to be able to evaluate a situation based on different possible circumstances(Bankruptcy, Deceased, Wrecked vehicle, Military protection, etc. ) and make the best decision for our clients and the bank based on company guidelines that could help us prevent a bank error repossession, this would include taking into consideration actions taken by other areas of the bank that may interact with the same accounts we do (Collections, BK, Rewrite, Litigation, Recoveries), to help accomplish the objective of curing the delinquency on the account or securing the collateral.

REQUIRED: 

Customer service/Collections skills, familiar with the use of computers, ability to type at average typing speed.
