Responsibilities

The Technology Center of Excellence (CoE) team in Jacksonville will be responsible for the delivery of agile project implementations and support across multiple business segments. As CoE Team Lead, you will have oversight of the Application developers, testers and production support teams. Reporting to CIT's Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will play an instrumental role in the delivery setup and structure as well as the efficiency and development of your team of expertise. You will provide support in project steering committees, escalated projects, and strategic initiatives for Technology.
  • Lead application development efforts aligned to Line of Business as well as Shared Services deliverables
  • Develop and manage unified automated end to end application testing and operational readiness practice
  • Be accountable for the standards set for the CoE, as well as the agile transformation and adoption
  • Lead the CoE operationalization and manage / continuously improve the service areas and resources (i.e. Virtual bench)
  • Guide the implementation and continuous integration with Technology business segment leaders to successfully support project delivery
  • Manage CoE resources budgeting, hiring and evaluation and ensures that the virtual bench meets the standards and supports project delivery excellence / continuous improvement
  • Product Backlog management for the CoE
  • Engage technology business segment leadership to drive transformation / adoption of Agile
  • Responsible for operational agile metrics and dashboards to be reported to CTO on regular basis
  • Ensure the correct engagement and interaction models are followed, including escalations
  • Ensure standard tools are leveraged


Qualifications

  • At least 8-10 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in managing teams
  • University degree in computer science, business information technology, mathematics, physics, engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in software implementation projects (SDLC)
  • Execution leadership and strategic thinking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Undergraduate or post graduate degree required
  • Certified Scrum Master and/or Certified Scrum Master in scaled Agile framework (e. g., SAFE)
  • Comprehensive Agile experience preferred including experience in distributed Agile delivery environments
  • Project Management track record (liaison with customer, development, customer service teams)
  • Ability to attract local IT talent
