What we do:
The Deal Operations team is dedicated to refining and enhancing deal development and approval processes within the organization. Our primary goal is to streamline internal deal-making processes and establish scalable deal strategies and best practices across the entire revenue organization. By providing critical insights and support, we ensure that each deal is optimized for success while maintaining efficiency and consistency in our operations.
What you’ll do:
As a Deal Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team's objectives through three key focus areas:

Tracking and Reporting:
Illuminate deal performance globally through comprehensive data insights and reporting.
Develop and maintain dashboards and metrics that provide visibility into the status and outcomes of deals.
Analyze trends and patterns to identify opportunities for process improvements and revenue growth. -
Deal Optimization and Strategic Innovation:
Collaborate cross-functionally to innovate and optimize deal structures and strategies.
Identify and recommend opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost savings through strategic analysis.
Create financial models to standardize deal offerings and improve deal economics. -
Process Documentation:
Document best practices and insights from successful deals through case studies and playbooks.
Standardize deal workflows and documentation to ensure consistency and scalability.
Continuously update and improve documentation based on evolving business needs and market dynamics.
Who you are:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in business operations. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Professional Experience: 2+ years of professional experience, and a bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or relevant substitute experience.
- Strong Excel and Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and creating meaningful reports and dashboards.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects with differing priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Problem-Solving and Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to analyze complex issues, propose solutions, and drive execution in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to Manage Ambiguity: Comfortable navigating uncertainty and making informed decisions with limited information.
- Collaborative and Communicative: Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Continuous Learner: Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, processes, and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits:
In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. Employees can also purchase The Trade Desk stock at a discount through The Trade Desk’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
Base Salary: The base salary range for this role is $63,500—$116,500 USD.
