You Are:

UST is seeking a payments domain & technology expert with deep & broad knowledge of card payments business processes, systems, and technologies to assist in leading new domestic & international payment initiatives across payment platforms & channels that will deliver strong increases in efficiencies, quality & services benefits to our clients. 

The Opportunity:

  • Can communicate effectively with CXO’s and senior leadership, at both client and within UST, acting as go-to payments SME for senior stakeholders and other team members
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of technology trends allowing businesses in this industry to increase revenue, decrease expenses and achieve strong ROI through technology innovation & transformation
  • Can consider the business implications of the application of technology to our clients’ current business environment, identify potential pain points, communicate effectively about potential risks & impacts, and collaborate to find optimal solutions

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, MIS, or related field required (graduate degree preferred).  Relevant work experience may be substituted for specific degrees.
  • Minimum 10 years' professional experience, including at least 5 years with a major payment processing player
  • Advanced knowledge of end-to-end card transaction processing business processes & systems, with depth in multiple domain areas spanning: account opening, KYC & AML, online transaction processing (authentication & transaction authorization), posting, reconciliation, clearing & settlement, fraud monitoring & alerting, card servicing, card operations, and other relevant payments subdomains
  • Expertise in Payment Card Security standards and processes is beneficial
  • Knowledge of transaction messaging protocols utilized in payment processing systems, such as ISO8583, ISO20022, etc. is desirable
  • Outstanding written & verbal communication & presentation skills

 

Bonus points if:

  • Technology transformation leadership & consulting background strongly preferred, especially experience in leading transformation of legacy payments systems and platforms to modern architectures on public cloud (AWS, Google, and/or Azure)
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
