We are seeking an experienced ERP Specialist to join our team. In this hybrid role, the ERP Support Specialist will travel up to 50% of the time to different manufacturing plants, warehouses, or office locations, providing direct support to end-users. The specialist will also offer remote assistance and troubleshooting from the office or home. The ideal candidate must have prior ERP experience and the ability to quickly learn new ERP platforms if needed.
About the Role:
In this opportunity as an ERP Specialist, you will:
- Daily User Support: Provide day-to-day ERP support for users across multiple departments, troubleshooting system errors, data inconsistencies, and transactional issues.
- Process Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve ERP workflow and process challenges, ensuring smooth operations across the production, inventory, and procurement functions.
- Travel & Onsite Support (50%): Visit manufacturing plants, warehouses, and other business locations to provide hands-on support, build relationships with users, and ensure smooth ERP processes.
- Hybrid Work Setup: Split time between onsite visits and remote support, handling tickets, system monitoring, and issue resolution.
- ERP Learning & Adaptation: Quickly learn the company's ERP platform if it is new to the candidate, participating in internal training sessions when needed.
- Training & Documentation: Provide ERP training and guidance to employees, creating user manuals and documentation to standardize processes.
- Incident Escalation: Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to escalate and resolve complex issues, minimizing downtime.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify system inefficiencies and propose process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance operations.
- System Testing: Participate in testing and implementation of system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze ERP performance and issue reports to track and improve support efficiency.
About You:
You're a fit for the role of ERP Specialist, if your background includes:
- ERP Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience with ERP platforms, with a preference for JD Edwards.
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing operations, including production, inventory, and supply chain processes.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to various company locations.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of ERP modules such as production, finance, procurement, and inventory management. SQL skills for data extraction and analysis are a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve ERP issues efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with users and cross-functional teams.
- Learning Ability: Willingness to learn new ERP platforms if needed.
- Documentation: Experience creating technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.
