Embedded Software Engineer, Senior

The Challenge:

What if you could use your engineering skills to transform innovative textile solutions for the defense sector? As an electrical engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to rapid prototyping of smart textile solutions! We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to drive innovation with cutting-edge technologies across the defense spaces!

Our team develops smart textile solutions for defense clients. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, who specializes in IoT (Internet of Things) sensors and wearable computer devices to help us design and develop innovative textile solutions. You’ll help conceptualize, design, fabricate, and test advanced fabric materials for sensing applications. You’ll work with our subject matter experts and other engineers to support defense spaces by developing innovative intelligent textile solutions. We’ll look to you to share your electrical engineering expertise through leadership and by mentoring junior staff. This is a chance to use your experience-based knowledge in microelectronics while broadening your skillset into areas like textile solutions. You Have:

-Experience with designing, coding, and testing in support of rapid prototyping solutions that encompass embedded systems software

-Experience with analyzing embedded software design requirements

-Experience in developing and implementing interface definitions with Internet of Things (IoT) sensors

-Ability to oversee the creation and execution of software integration and test plans

-Ability to conduct and lead verification, testing, and integration efforts

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with project leadership and management

-Experience with networks and communications protocols

-Ability to conceptualize ideas, collaborate on design, and drive innovative prototyping of smart textiles solutions

-Active Secret clearance

-BS degree in an engineering field preferred; MS degree in an engineering field a plus

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
