Supports Microsoft Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Dell PowerEdge Servers. Secondary support for Exchange and server backups along with Microsoft patching on the servers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):
• The candidate for this position will have knowledge and experience providing support for the following items.
o Microsoft 2008/2012/2016 Servers, Active Directory and Hyper-V
o Microsoft Hyper-V
o Dell OME
o Microsoft WDS
• Will manage and maintain internal DNS and DHCP as needed
• Create support documentation as required.
• Install software as required.
Education & Qualifications/Training:
• Associates’ degree or equivalent or 1-2 years of experience in related field
• Experience with creating support documentation.
• Experience in basic and mid-level Customer service.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Server 2008/2012/2016, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange and Hyper-V is ideal.
• Must have knowledge in good customer service and documentation skills and be willing to work beyond normal office hours as the situation dictates.
