Their services include Business, Individual, State & Local tax, R&D Tax Credit, as well as International and Private Client services. As a Tech & Emerging Growth Tax Senior Manager based out of our New York City or any of our NJ offices, you'll work alongside an integrated team of seasoned, well-known CPAs and industry leaders.

But our commitment goes beyond our clients as we continue to live the Withum Way, promoting personal and professional growth for all team members, clients, and surrounding communities.  How You’ll Spend Your Time:Achieving associated growth goals in revenue, team head count and key ecosystem relationshipsBeing a focal point for collaboration, coordination and communication with your team and the national practiceIdentifying and leading a coordinated, cross functional team to pursue technology and emerging growth opportunities within the Southern California marketplaceAssisting with establishing and achieving specific revenue and service growth goals for the regionActively participating in strategy sessions, marketing calls and events with the regional and National technology teamWorking with industry, service line engagement teams to ensure appropriate resources and deliverables are provided to our technology clientsProviding routine insight in to the technology landscape and your associated clients based on your relevant and tangible experience and communicate it to firm leadership.
Ensure you are ever aware of your technology clients position, personnel, activity, issues and challenges in order to provide supportProviding thought leadership to the Southern California technology marketActively participating in and contributing to the industry and service line leadership providing perspective and commentary on areas of opportunity and challenge presented to Withum in the technology marketplaceThe Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:Bachelor's Degree in accounting from an accredited institutionCPA, JD, LLM or MST requiredMinimum of 8+ years of professional services experience requiredExtensive experience with C-Corp Form 1120 tax filing entities and ASC 740 tax provisionsIndustry knowledge within the Technology/Startup and Emerging Growth sector a plusDemonstrated strategic leadership.
Defining market opportunities, creating a strategic plan, process and deployment capabilitiesDemonstrated process creation.  Adept at developing and deploying best of breed business development and relationship management practicesOutstanding multitasking skills and organizationStrong verbal communication.
Demonstrate clear verbal communicationStrong writing skills.
Demonstrate clear written professional communicationStrong presentation skills.
Must possess ability to organize and lead meetings with senior executivesStrong leadership skills.
Demonstrate ability to set strategy and lead a team of professionals in a variety of capacities and different position responsibilitiesProject management.
Must demonstrate ability to manage time, multi-task, and meet deadlines for themselves and their firm team membersCandidate must demonstrate experience in working as a productive member of a teamTangible and demonstrated experience in formal sales process deployment, use and trainingAbility to be a resource to other team members on the firm, the technology community, overall strategy and tacticsAbility to adhere to an environment of accountability and responsibility – no excusesAbility to constructively monitor, formally (CRM) and informally (personal interaction) personal and client account performanceCreative problem solving & conflict resolutionAttentiveness to detailOutstanding relationship management skills and personal networking skills are essentialMust be solution orientedThe compensation for this position will vary by location.

In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance.
Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications.
