• This position is part of a team of payments experts who are responsible for making sure we deliver payment excellence through partners for our enterprise merchant offering. • Global role – interfacing with PayPal org/offices/teams and our clients and partners. • Evangelize - Serve as a thought leader for enterprise merchants (merchant communication, conferences, partners, webinars etc.). • Client aptitude - Direct involvement with global enterprise clients on an ongoing basis. Sales teams support and expert advice for closing deals with Large Enterprise Merchants. • Distill the complex - Key contributor for training and education in areas such as payments and broader commerce ecosystem for rest of organization. • A connector - Partner with Product and Engineering, Finance, Support, Global Sales, Professional Services, and Account Management, as well as leveraging external partnerships that are built over time, to deliver for our business.

Lead a team that:

  • Identifies/creates and drives delivery of key initiatives to expand our platform capabilities and ensure Sales and Accounts win/expand payment processing deals on a global level.
  • Spearheads partnership development for new markets, platform solutions, and payment processing across the world as required to fill Platform needs.
  • Influences the Platform’s product roadmap to meet the processing, payout, and mulit-lateral needs of merchants and marketplaces.
  • Navigates the complicated compliance and rule frameworks for enterprise merchants and marketplaces processing so that PayPal stays well-managed and compliant as we scale our global business.
  • Identifies areas of opportunity that map to our Platform solutions and features and deliver growth plans to capture the new opportunities.
  • Ensures PayPal is seen as a thought leader in enabling global payments for large enterprises and marketplaces.
  • Acts as a payments expert for new strategic initiatives; currently this includes things such as Local Payment Method expansion, Omnichannel, and new ecommerce experiences, to mention just a few
  • “Hardens” the systems we employ for the broader organization across a number of areas such as Regulations, compliance, Legal, Scheme rules, Sales motions, and Upselling. 
  • Works directly with clients pre- and post-live to site to maximize their payment processing experiences on the PayPal platform for enterprises
