We are currently hiring a Fulltime Occupational Therapist

Also hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist

Very Flexible work week.

Santa Fe Care Center is a Skilled Nursing Rehabilitation Center looking for an Occupational Therapist to join Full-Time.

*Our staff and therapy team are dedicated to providing

rehabilitation to our residents whether for a short-term rehabilitation stay or for our residents who decided to make Santa Fe Care Center their home and may require therapy services.

*Santa Fe Care Center offers a relaxed yet busy atmosphere with resident centered needs and staff working collaboratively to improve successful outcomes.

*In addition, the rehabilitation department may have the flexibility to accommodate untraditional work week for the

Occupational Therapist allowing more freedom for personal schedules.

The requirements for this position include (and are not limited to):

* Occupational Therapist degree from certified university with Occupational Therapy

licensure in the state of New Mexico.

* Responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services; adherence to an

established plan of care, department and patient(s)' schedule, and timely

documentation of services.

* Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other related meetings.

*Makes referrals to other disciplines, agencies in order to address the comprehensive needs of the patient.

*Consults with other members of the rehabilitation team to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient.

* Adapts program and/or plan of care according to the needs of individual patient.

* Promotes a safe environment and enforces the elimination of fire and safety hazards.

*Orders supplies and equipment as necessary.

* Cleans, maintains, identifies, and reports the need for repair of equipment as necessary.

*Puts patient service first: ensures that patients and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights.

* Flexible in day-to-day operations and therapy schedule

*Dress Code - business casual and/or scrub attire
