RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work on an unreleased consumer facing product in Seattle, WA. You'll be working alongside some of the best engineers at the company acting as a customer advocate. You would develop test plans that mirror consumer usage patterns enabling faster defect identification. We are focused on launching a world class product which is reliable, scalable and highly performant, and we need your help to fail fast and improve iteratively. Summary: You'll have opportunity to work with a variety of technologies across front-end applications and back-end services. In this role, you're expected to operate autonomously in ensuring quality of the product being a grey-box tester across various integration points, understand software internals, and derive diagnostic information from service logs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of software quality assurance engineering experience
  • Knowledge of QA methodology and industry-standard testing and bug tracking tools
  • Experience driving quality through process, instrumentation, requirements and testing
  • Experience developing test strategies, test plans and test cases
Preferred:
  • Experience with usability best practices; able to influence and improve user experience
