Compensation: $90,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year

Robert Half Technology (IT Search) is actively looking to fill a Network Systems Engineer position with a client in the Jacksonville area. The client has an excellent work environment and is growing considerably. This is a direct hire opportunity. The Network Systems Engineer will be responsible for the following: Implement, monitor and maintain server and network overall security with in Datacenter. Support development, test, pre-production, and production servers and other hardware; Server / Network log Management - plan and implement updates to network equipment and monitor log management server for security issues. System Production Updates - perform tasks related to implementing new features or bug fixes into production; Assure network availability - firewall administration, LAN / WAN support, AD domain management; Perform MSSQL Server support including log shipping, mirroring backups. Monitor and manage weekly patch management and daily backups. Supervises and coordinates activities of other network system support personnel as required. Willing to work on weekends, holidays and after hours as necessary or desirable to meet the business needs. Must be able to participate in regular after-hours on call support rotation. Advance Knowledge of Linux Unix environment for day to day operation. Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines. Additional duties as assigned by manager.
