If so, our Verification, Validation and Transition (VV&T) team is your calling! The VV&T team is responsible for technical support of the planning and execution of enterprise and system-level verification, validation and transition activities for national assets, associated ground segments and services, and mission processing systems within the enterprise. The team executes enterprise tests and provides the recommended closure of enterprise and system requirements; conducts Independent Verification, Validation and Transition in support of delivered system capabilities and mission closure, oversees readiness events in support of enterprise, system and acquisition-level test milestones; leads and/or supports project planning; assesses schedule and risk; generates and presents engineering briefings; and interfaces with numerous customers. This is a senior position that requires an understanding of the Intelligence Community and customer domain, along with a strong focus on core systems engineering processes in support of end-to-end mission and services closure. Selected candidate will serve as a technical member of a dynamic systems engineering integration team supporting both software and hardware development programs. Responsibilities: * Participate in the integration initiatives for development contracts on behalf of the customer. * Perform Agile System Integration to include transition to Ops in a DevOps construct and will support agile test strategies allowing for continuous integration/continuous delivery. * Write test strategies and plans, execute tests, analyze data and author summarized results in a test report. * Perform investigations into potential new capabilities being proposed by the developer and provide guidance on relevance and worth. * Assess test and evaluation strategies, plans and methods to assure delivery of ground systems meet system specifications and defined enterprise capabilities, and integrates ground segment and system elements together so they work as a whole. * Perform acquisition system integration tasks, to include regression testing, and provide deliverables in support of integrating the products, processes, subsystems, and components of a system. * Participate in the creation of assessment reports and VV&T results. * Have the aptitude to assess processes and create efficiencies continuously, and may lead projects, have frequent client interactions, and support system and mission strategy development. * Have daily interaction with the developer and customer and supporting contractors,and will need to follow integration processes as to transition capabilities through the lifecycle. Qualifications Qualifications: * 10 to 12 years' experience with B.S. in engineering or related technical field or 8 to 10 years' experience with M.S. in engineering or related technical field or 5-7 years' experience with Ph.D. in engineering or related technical field. * Must possess and be able to maintain an active TS/SCI with Poly.
* Working understanding of the end-to-end Systems Engineering Process (INCOSE Vee) * Experience with space/ground testing and systems engineering, systems integration, Verification, Validation and Transition (VV&T) activities. * Broad Systems Engineering experience with radio frequency (RF) systems. * Experience writing test strategies and plans, executing tests, analyzing data and summarizing results. * Experience with automated test tools and reading output from automated tests. * Experience supporting agile automated focused test, DevOps verification strategies and integration of new systems and initiatives in support of expanded mission capabilities. * Ability to work with a combined government/Federally Fund Research and Development Center/Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance workforce Desired Skills/Experience: * Experience with Digital Engineering concepts and tools (e.g., Model Center, Cameo, Rhapsody) * Prior experience with GEOINT and/or SIGINT systems, and/or mission operations is highly desired * Exposure to Laser Communications technology EEO Statement EEO We are required to compile the following information for statistical purposes in order to comply with certain federal regulations relating to Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action requirements.
