Staff Accountant
Classification: Staff Accountant
Compensation: $50000.00 to $70000.00 yearly
A well established Hospitality firm is seeking a strong Staff Accountant to support the Controllers group with their Real Estate portfolio. The firm has a mixed portfolio including Commercial, Residential, and Mixed Use Properties.
• Will support the Controllers group with monthly closings and reporting
• Mixed Real Estate portfolio including Residential, Commercial, Retail, Mixed Use
• Assist with fin stmt preparation
• G/L Analysis and Reconciliations
• Bank Reconciliations
• Monthly/Annual closings
• YE Audit
• Help out with AP/AR as needed

- Competent with spreadsheets and databases
- BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills required
- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Efficient in ERP systems
- Spreadsheet and database capabilities
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills
- Expertise in Annual External Audit
- Solid understanding of Analyze Financial Statements
- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus
- Recent and relevant accounting experience
- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
