Job Requirements

All candidates must adhere to strict safety standards while ensuring the highest quality of work is completed efficiently and timely. Job Summary: This position will be responsible for applying business knowledge and Human Resource expertise. This role will assist in providing a wide range of HR support and advice. The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, knowledge of working in a union environment, performance management and HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between personnel and senior management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Facilitating the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience •Oversee and assist with issues related to labor negotiations, employment, compensation and employee relations •Process weekly payroll and submit to payroll department •Administer employee health and welfare plans •Acting as a liaison between employees and corporate benefits department to resolve related problems •Assist with the implementation and administering employee policies •Provide high-level advice and service to management on employee relations and performance issues •Oversee the full cycle recruitment process to include job descriptions, postings, interviewing, selection and onboarding •Identify ways to improve policy and procedures •Prepare and process terminations (voluntary/involuntary) QUALIFICATIONS: •3-5 years of experience in Human Resources •Bachelor's Degree in HR or related discipline or certification preferred •Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures •Current knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations •Knowledge of union practices •Sound judgment of decision making and problem-solving •Strong knowledge of recruitment / hiring practices and processes •Use of Microsoft office, Excel, Google, Ultipro - HRIS and ADP platform •Excellent written / oral communication skills If you are interested in this position, submit your resume directly to [Click Here to Email Your Resumé]
