This position reports to the Director of Finance. Responsibilities Analyze and evaluate actual production costs and standard costs. Support formulation of proposal financial bids. Preparing project cost reports and presentations. Create journal entries and supporting schedules. Monitor budgets for over- and under-runs. Reconcile various Balance Sheet and P&L accounts. Support routine financial month-end and year-end close processes. Support and participate in reporting and forecasting of financial results. Use of government compliant ERP system. Support annual year-end financial audits. Support achievement of all programmatic, contractual and financial objectives. Maintain a high ethical standard of practice, including compliance with all company procedures. Qualifications Candidate MUST be U.S. citizen. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent field. 1 to 3 years of accounting experience. Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS, preferred. Excellent organizational skills and work ethic. Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. Ability to work in a team environment and interact with employees in all departments and functions. Ability to see a problem or challenge and create a solution – a “roll up your sleeves and get it done” work ethic. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office products. Preferred Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, CAS. Familiarity with government contracting accounting experience.
