Licensed Practical Nurse job in Upper Arlington at Adecco Medical & Science

Adecco Medical & Science is Hiring Immediately for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to assist our client in providing clinical services. LPN/LVN must have a full, active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse.
Pay is $23-$37 an hour!
Required PPE will be provided. Under the supervision of the clinic Nurse Practitioner, the LPN will assist with greeting patients and conducting all activities related to screening patients for COVID19. Contract extension may be possible on a case-by-case basis depending on location and community testing needs.
Responsibilities

Performs and documents a focused history per clinical guidelines.

Obtains and documents vital signs per clinical guidelines.

Performs and documents vision and hearing tests

Collect laboratory specimens under the direction of the Nurse Practitioner.

Performs CLIA waved laboratory tests and documents results under the direction of the Nurse Practitioner.

Provide immunizations to children and adults pursuant to clinic written LVN Guidelines and Vaccination Protocols

Responds to patients/customers needs. Focuses on retaining current patients and attracting new clients.

Education

The Licensed Practical Nurse is a graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)) at the time the program was completed by the applicant.

The LPN/LVN must have a full, active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia. 

Minimum of one year related work experience to include working with an Electronic Medical Record

Experience
Minimum of one year related work experience to include working with an Electronic Medical Record, taking vital signs and performing Point of Care Testing.
Duties

LVN/LPN will conduct all activities related to screening patients for COVID19: patient registration in EPIC EMR, insurance verification, point of care test specimen collection/processing, notifying patient of results, educate patient on appropriate next steps based on test results.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining infection control and lab processing requirements. Testing location will be based at locations both inside and outside the store.

Training and orientation will be provided prior to start.
