Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a Lead Electronics Systems Architect in our Andover, MA location.The Innovation & Technology team is leading the Electronics Taskforce towards a transformation of Schneider Electrics Electronics Systems, we are looking for a candidate to support one of our divisions across Energy Management (Power Products, Power Systems, Secure Power, Digital Energy & Home & Distribution).  This mission is a key pillar of our Electricity 4.0 transformation, the fastest path to carbon zero, based on more electric and more digital. We target “system architects” (but in the frame of reference of semiconductors’ suppliers) meaning a profile able to understand the use cases in order to build the best possible architecture both in term of firmware and hardware. So they must have 4 critical competences :

•    Hardware
•    Firmware
•    Semiconductor technology and industry
•    Applications

These Electronics experts will contribute to our global plan to enhance our systemic capability through : 
     - Building a short term resiliency
     - Reducing the risk in our offer portfolio
     - Shaping the future

As Lead Electronics Systems Architect, they will be dedicated to ONE business (1 division ~ 5B€) in order to de-risk innovation :
      - Explore / describe potential product platforms in line with business strategies 
      - Organize and drive peer reviews to help innovation teams
      - Challenge and guide overall component choices with standardization team and innovation team
      - Guide, support and coach the innovation teams
      - Support troubleshooting whenever needed

As part of the global Center of Excellence they will take the ownership of one of the electronic dimensions across Energy Management (for instance MCU) and make sure they build the right knowledge and actions plan meaning :
      - Drive a platforming approach for his domain to optimize the solutions across the board
      - Understand the electronic market trends
      - Build the right relationship with suppliers
      - Understand the solutions and moves of our competitors
      - Build the right technological actions plan and partnership with start-up and universities
      - Build a clear competence assessment and the associated actions plan
      - Work with Standardization and purchasing to have an up to the mark standard
