Human Resource Manager

Synerfac is seeking a Human Resource Manager for our client in Maryland and Virigina. Our client has been owned and operated by 1,000 dairy farm families from Pennsylvania to Georgia for 100 years.
This position will be responsible for several union facilities in the Northern Virginia/Maryland area and will be expected to travel to several locations.
The Human Resources Manager will develop and sponsor initiatives to drive employee engagement and enablement, maintain positive employee relations and proactive communication, manage performance and talent development cycles, interpret policy and manage internal investigations, administer and advise on compensation decisions and ensure compliance with company values, HR policies, and procedures. In addition, will implement labor relations programs to oversee compliance with the union's negotiated contracts.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources.
- Union Labor Relations experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with clients to solve business/operational issues through the application of progressive people systems practices.
- Must be able to travel 80% - 100% of the time to multiple facilities.
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws.
- Knowledge of HR applications is preferred.
- Ability to gain trust and buy-in with all levels of employees.
- PHR preferred.
