Our client is seeking a HR GENERALIST to assist while their HR Generalist on leave. We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused, well organized HR professional for this newly created position located at our Corporate Office in Schaumburg, IL to provide full life-cycle recruiting for all exempt and non-exempt positions; including sourcing, screening candidates, extending job offers, and initiating all pre-hire requirements in compliance with Yamazen?s policies, and applicable state and federal laws. This position will also support our 14 U.S. regional offices. Additional responsibilities include HR Generalist and administrative support. Essential Functions Benefits administration. Onboarding. Partners with hiring manager(s) to determine best recruiting strategy for position(s). Advertises job openings on social media and appropriate job boards. Uses traditional and non-traditional resources (i.e. job boards, career fairs, social media, employment agencies) to identify and attract quality candidates. Screens resumes, conducts phone screens and schedules interviews, administers assessments for select positions. Initiates written contingent job offers through Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and coordinates background checks and new-hire drug testing. Coordinates and communicates employees? start date based on completion of pre-hire process. Ensures ATS data is accurate, current, and properly functioning for candidates, new hires and internal ATS team. Completes unemployment claims and provides company representation at unemployment hearings as necessary. Assists with HR projects. Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

3-5 years HR and recruiting experience. HR certification or CIRS a plus. Strong organization skills and customer service orientation. Exercise good judgment and maintain confidentiality regarding critical and sensitive information, records, and reports. Knowledge of HR laws. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS (Paycom preferred)
