To maintain this pace, they are actively searching for a Robotics Engineer with high-volume manufacturing experience.

  • Duties of the Robotics Engineer include:

  • Develop and lead robotic applications to optimize production efficiency and production flow within the welding and final assembly departments of this high-volume automotive facility
  • Troubleshoot robotic systems and suggest countermeasures to minimize downtime while ensuring safety
  • Diagnose robotic systems and reprogram or calibrate as needed
  • Measure variance to efficiency standards, investigate out of control metrics, and suggest corrective actions
  • Develop process flow diagrams and workplace layouts to increase efficiency and reduce handling
  • Utilize knowledge of APQP to participate in product and process introduction

  • Requirements of the Robotics Engineer include:

  • An Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred
  • Previous experience as a Robotics Engineer or similar position within an automotive manufacturing setting
  • Knowledge of Fanuc Robots preferred, but other brand experience acceptable.
  • Special consideration given to welding, metal fabrication, assembly or related manufacturing processes
  • The ability to travel to multiple plant locations throughout Ohio as needed daily basis
