Associate Real Estate Attorney - Los Angeles

Join our nationally recognized law firm based in Los Angeles as an Associate Real Estate Attorney and become an integral part of a dynamic team focused on high-level real estate transactions. This role is suited for legal professionals seeking to leverage their real estate expertise in a collaborative environment that prioritizes professional growth and client satisfaction.

Salary: $185,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle a diverse range of real estate deals involving financing, development, and investment.
  • Represent clients rigorously in negotiations and transactions including the preparation and revision of complex legal documents.
  • Strategically advise on and structure multifaceted real estate projects.
  • Coordinate with a committed team of attorneys to meet ongoing client requirements and manage caseloads effectively, ensuring exceptional client service.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, conducting regular client meetings and fostering trust.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with outstanding academic achievements.
  • Current Bar Admission in California.
  • 2–5 years of substantive experience in real estate law focusing on transactions.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in loans, joint ventures, LLC arrangements, and leases.
  • Excellent legal writing capabilities and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in representing both developers and investors in large-scale real estate operations.
  • Deep understanding of real estate market dynamics and legal ramifications.

Skills:

  • Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis with minimal supervision.
  • Skilled in negotiation that aligns with client’s interests and legal expectations.
  • Exceptional organization skills with an aptitude for managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Competence in utilizing legal software and other technology tools for case management.
