PDS Tech is currently recruiting for a Key Account Manager in Ridgeville, SC!

This is a plant is growing and is part of the supply chain to major automotive and diesel manufacturing facilities in the Low Country and the State of South Carolina. If you have strong Sales or Marketing Experience in the automotive or automotive parts industry, and have an Engineering background apply now!

This person will maintain and Improve market share in line with policy and LRP objectives by improving customer relationships, maintaining & improving contribution, developing new & potential customers, and enabling new product plan adherence.
  • Deliver products and service to meet customer requirements in terms of QCD parameters
  • Conduct daily / weekly reviews effectively as per plan and support team members to achieve goals
  • Adhere to customer visit plan & and communicate feedback internally
  • Complete activities for improving customer satisfaction on committed date and seek feedback from customers
  • Review of contribution analysis
  • Propose price corrections to Head - S&M based on contribution analysis
  • Follow through VA / VE proposal implementation
  • Identify new customers based on policy guidelines and conduct feasibility study for further development
  • Establish contacts with new customers
  • Facilitate system audit clearance for identified new customers
  • Respond to RFQ as per committed lead time
  • Conduct technology day presentation for the identified customers
  • Prepare product plan based on the customer requirements
  • Identify gaps in fulfilling the product plan along with the technical teams
  • Propose solutions for meeting the plan to the management
  • Discussion with customers to understand their needs and requirements
  • Conduct reviews with internal teams on customer requirements / satisfaction actions
  • Implementing pricing policy

Minimum Qualifications
  • Engineer with MBA (preferable) from reputed educational institution
  • 12+ years of experience in auto / auto component product companies in sales / marketing function (Preferred)
  • Previous experience with and working knowledge of customer sales, customer market share, creating and retaining high customer satisfaction, creating new business, RFQ lead time, and new product plan adherence
  • Greenbelt problem solving
  • TS 16949 awareness
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Negotiation skills and sales planning
  • Product awareness and commercial acumen
  • Knowledge of export regulations and procedures
  • High Customer Focus
  • Strong attention to details
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
