We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Director of Business Transformation.



Responsibilities

Unique and exciting opportunity to be a key member of Envision’s growing strategy team, working directly with radiology executive leadership to transform the business while gaining excellent exposure across Envision to serve as a springboard into additional leadership opportunities after approximately 18-24 months.  The Business Transformation Director will serve as a strategic thought partner responsible for the delivery and execution of pre-defined strategic and transformational initiatives, designed to enable radiology’s 5-year strategic plan.

The Director will be responsible for operationalizing the established 5-year strategy by identifying opportunities and organizing initiatives into specific workstreams with clear plans to deliver objectives, and in some cases will directly lead initiatives. In driving success, the Director will need to demonstrate advanced skills in strategy, data analytics, program management, process management, communication and organizational relationships, and will be expected to drive alignment across multiple cross functional teams including clinical, operations, IT and strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Transformation Director requires someone who has healthcare services experience, specifically in strategy and growth roles, and is able to effectively engage in every part of the business as a leader, thought-partner, and  executor. The ideal candidate is a highly strategic and tactical problem solver with a "hands-on" orientation and a strong bias for action. They must have the ability to not only develop data-driven strategies at both the enterprise and local levels, but translate those strategies into tactical work plans with clear accountability and buy-in. They can manage and oversee a large and complicated agenda of responsibilities but are also willing and eager to roll up their sleeves, get into the details, and drive the work forward on a day-to-day basis. A successful Director will be highly collaborative and quickly gain credibility with field, clinicians and corporate leaders. They will be able to balance building trust and driving ambitious strategic plans and clear accountability. Overall, a strong Business Transformation Director will be able to drive full buy-in on the transformation program, identify new vectors for growth, and build tactical execution plans to realize that growth.

      • Responsible for high level execution / management against strategic pillars:
        • Business objectives defined in strategy work
        • Functional enablers and commitments
        • All in-flight and relevant work (Radiology Transformation Program)
        • Organizational milestones and transition from interim to clean sheet
      • Drive concept, scope definition, and execution of cross functional strategic and operational business transformation initiatives, ranging from corporate and operational strategy to process improvement
        • Growth
        • Account management
        • Clinical and facility value prop
        • Management process creation (in partnership with radiology VPs)
        • Technology
        • Operations and Support
        • Communication
      • Identify ways to use technology services to transform operations and the clinician experience
      • Prepare and deliver reports, metrics and recommendations for improving processes and developing initiatives
      • Collaborate with other service lines and teams to ensure radiology care model integrates clinically, culturally, and operationally as needed
      • Establish own management process for focus areas that integrates and enhances overall radiology process
      • Drive communication with internal and external stakeholders (including senior executives and Board)
      • Build effective relationships and act as a change agent
      • Aid in the development of business valuation, including ROI
      • Read and abide by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs.
      • Report any real or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment or other prohibited activities in accordance with the reporting policies of the company.
      • Obtain clarification of policy whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources or Legal Department to do so.

  • Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills, including ability to conduct internal/external research, environmental scans and analyze key data
  • Demonstrated business acumen; ability to understand and apply key financial, clinical, and operational drivers affecting business
  • Experience in developing and using key performance indicators (KPI) to drive business performance
  • Strong presence and communication / relationship skills; credible operating within a cross-functional matrix and with senior executives and clinicians
  • Tenacious, resilient, and service-oriented approach; strong bias for action and hands on-attitude/drive with high attention to detail
  • Enjoys working at fast pace and managing multiple, sometimes ambiguous, priorities
  • Self-driven with a high level of motivation and determination
  • Creative problem solver that takes initiative and ownership; goes beyond what was asked for and is continually looking several steps ahead
  • Capability to quickly develop a strong \'standing\' within the organization
  • Track record of successfully handling demanding projects and workstreams in parallel
  • Professional presence and excellent presentation skills, especially among senior executive audiences
  • Strong project and program management skills
  • Demonstrate key skills necessary to support transformation or change management plans and communication skills needed to support successful transformation projects
  • Track record of handling extremely confidential information appropriately

Education/Experience

  • 7+ years of broad general business experience and knowledge across many disciplines (Strategy, Program management, Business Process, Business Transformation, Operations), experience in healthcare preferred
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience at a top strategy consulting firm
  • Relevant hands-on operational experience or similar successful transformation exposure is a plus
  • MBA preferred (bachelor’s degree required)
