Technical Artist I

Are you a Technical Artist who loves to collaborate with a team to create outstanding games?  Or are you an up-and-comer who wants nothing more than to learn alongside a team of extremely innovative Sr. Designers, Engineers and Developers? If so, there could be a great opportunity for you at Scientific Games!

We are looking for a Technical Artist I with a strong interest in creating new games with existing artwork.  The Technical Artist serves as a translator between art and engineering, working closely with the game studio artists and engineers to ensure that the player-facing vision for the game is achieved. This role would be especially great for someone who is just starting to get into the gaming industry, and would benefit immensely from working with a senior team, learning while working on innovative projects, using some of the newest technologies out there, including 3D graphic design tools!

The optimal candidate will have experience with game engines(Unity, Unreal or similar), Photoshop/After Effects, and 3d packages (3ds max, Maya or similar).

The candidate will also have some proficiency in at least 2 of the following areas:

  • Scripting in languages such as C#, JavaScript, MEL or Python.
  • 3d animation or motion graphics.
  • Rigging.
  • Effects and particle systems.
  • Source control.
