Service Desk Analyst
Direct Hire
Location: Saint Louis, MO (Hwy 170 area)
Description: This will be doing technical support in a retail environment. 
The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for providing phone and desk side technical support and customer service for all stores in North America, United Kingdom as well as the United States and United Kingdom. The individual is also responsible for training/coaching of associate level analysts. 

Responsibilities:




  • Respond to service tickets opened and take phone calls from stores and offices

  • Troubleshoot software issues and implement best resolution available while documenting all steps in ticketing system

  • Create and terminate user accounts received through ticketing system

  • Add users to groups in Active Directory and administrate general Microsoft Exchange related requests

  • Aid Associate Level Analysts when needed by answering questions and demonstrating best practices when handling incidents and technical issues

  • Rotate on call shift with service desk team to provide 24/7 support for headquarters, North America and United Kingdom stores. On call hours between 8 p.m. – 2 a.m. (CST) Monday – Friday, Saturday 6 p.m. – 2 a.m. (CST), and Sunday 5 p.m. – 2 a.m. (CST)



Qualifications:




  • High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1 – 2 years providing 1st level IT support while troubleshooting software and hardware issues required, 3-4 years preferred

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint required

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Flexible and adaptable to change

  • Strong analytical reasoning skills

  • Prior experience with Cisco Systems equipment, MS SharePoint, MacOS, Lawson or a Point of Sale (POS) System is a plus

  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds and ability to crawl under desks to set up computer equipment
