The Area Coordinator supports the Area VP of Sales in general Human Resource administration. The position will provide requested reports, coordinate completion of District Management level performance appraisals, track vacation and personal holidays for the Area staff as well as complete the bi-weekly Time and Attendance reports. The incumbent will process approved area territory account assignment transfers and job splits. The role will assist the Area Recruiter and Area HR Manager with the Internship program and in recruitment efforts by coordinating and scheduling interviews, registering for career fairs and maintaining current information for colleges. The Area Coordinator will use the Careers@Sherwin-Williams job posting system to initiate job postings for the area and schedule applicant interviews with the VP of Sales. The position will coordinate sales events and provide support for special promotions as well as coordinate monthly and/or quarterly Area management meetings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status.
• Must have the ability to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or comparable certification (e.g. GED).
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field.
• Ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, adapt to changes, and meet deadlines.
• Self-starter with ability to take charge without specific direction.
• Customer service skills, including problem solving.
