Our client, in Midtown Manhattan, is looking for a Senior Accountant. This person will report directly to the Controller. This is a contract opportunity with the ability to go permanent for the right fit.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include:

• Generating and analyzing financial reports
• Complete ownership of the Month-End close process
• Managing Balance Sheet accounts
• Performing multiple bank reconciliations
• Preparation of Financial Statements and other Financial Reporting

Qualifications of the Senior Accountant include:

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel required (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
• Ability to own the Month-End close process
• Financial Reporting experience required
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
