Delivery Assistant, Foodservice - NO CDL REQUIRED


Average pay:  $16.24 per hour.

The Delivery Assistant is a physical, fast-paced position that involves stacking, bending, lifting, and unloading product from our trailers using a ramp and 2-wheeled dolly. You will place our customers' products in their designated storage area(s), stacking and storing products carefully and appropriately. This position requires excellent customer contact skills and a lot of walking. As a Delivery Assistant you will not drive the delivery vehicle; your role is to assist the Driver to unload product from the trailer to our customers. McLane apparel is provided.


Be at least 18 years of age.
Have excellent customer service skills.
Be able to lift and move product and pallets which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
Undergo pre-employment screenings, including a background check and a drug test.

******If you are looking for an additional challenge we do have a Delivery assistant II position available. This position pays $18.00 per hour. Delivery assistants in this role take primary responsibility for unloading the trailer. They are partnered with a Class A driver who drives to the store location, scans the product and manages the relationship with the customer. *******



Candidates must pass a background check, drug screen and other job requirements.
