Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller for our dynamic and growing company. This position will play a pivotal role in our finance department, overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in a strong background in manufacturing accounting, with the ability to implement and manage ERP systems, conduct audits, and prepare comprehensive financial reports.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
2. Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, COO and the Board of Directors.
3. Supervise the investment and raising of funds to meet ongoing operational needs and future growth.
4. Implement and manage ERP systems, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
5. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and adherence to company policies.
6. Collaborate with management team to formulate strategic and long-term business plans, with focus on bottom-line performance.
7. Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance.
8. Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
9. Participate in corporate policy development as a member of the senior management team.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, ideally in the Scientific or Manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with ERP implementation, monthly reporting, audits, and manufacturing accounting.
4. Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
6. Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel.
8. High attention to detail and accuracy, even under pressure.
9. Ability to work with large amounts of data, to detect patterns and implications.
10. High integrity and openness combined with commitment to good governance.
