Manager, Sales ( Birmingham, Atlanta or Nashville)
The Manager of Sales will be directly responsible for growing a territory by executing Door Security Solutions sales strategy and utilizing company wide sales goal tools under the guidance of the Director of Sales.
Assist in developing and executing sales strategy for the territory in close cooperation with Director of Sales.
Directing others on sales goals and activities.
Assist with interacting with and making sales calls to key decision makers and influencers in the contract hardware arena including distributors, architects, general contractors, construction managers, and end users.
Holding regular staff meetings.
Assist with building and maintaining a high performance team by hiring staff, evaluating and coaching employee performance, supporting appropriate training and development methods, and team building.
Bachelors Degree required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the door and hardware business or related industry (i.e. building products, access control) with a minimum of 3 of those calling into the contract distribution channel.
A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a managerial role with responsibility for directing staff.
Ability to think strategically and demonstrated record of developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
Good relationship building, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of managers, employees, customers, and influencers at all levels.
Ability to travel throughout the territory and the US.
