Manager, Sales ( Birmingham, Atlanta or Nashville)

The Manager of Sales will be directly responsible for growing a territory by executing Door Security Solutions sales strategy and utilizing company wide sales goal tools under the guidance of the Director of Sales.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing sales strategy for the territory in close cooperation with Director of Sales.

  • Directing others on sales goals and activities.

  • Assist with interacting with and making sales calls to key decision makers and influencers in the contract hardware arena including distributors, architects, general contractors, construction managers, and end users.

  • Holding regular staff meetings.

  • Assist with building and maintaining a high performance team by hiring staff, evaluating and coaching employee performance, supporting appropriate training and development methods, and team building.

    Position Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the door and hardware business or related industry (i.e. building products, access control) with a minimum of 3 of those calling into the contract distribution channel.

  • A minimum of 1-2 years experience in a managerial role with responsibility for directing staff.

  • Ability to think strategically and demonstrated record of developing and implementing effective sales strategies.

  • Good relationship building, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of managers, employees, customers, and influencers at all levels.

  • Ability to travel throughout the territory and the US.
