Commercial Finance Manager

A growing company has a new role for a Commercial Finance Manager. Commercial Finance Manager plays a key role in major business initiatives including: commercial financing, financial advisory for structuring and development of customer contracts, sales planning/forecasting, and new business development activities.



Commercial Finance Manager Responsibilities:



' Develops and maintains a detailed understanding of the company's customer solutions and related contractual structures



' Analyzes contractual relationships with customers, providing recommendations on deal structuring improvements to be considered, and facilitating effective deal evaluations



' Builds and maintains highly effective cross-functional relationships with colleagues to ensure effective communication and value-added working relationships



' Partners closely with the sales team and understand the ongoing business activity pipeline



' Engages with banks and potential financing partners to develop avenues and options for commercial financing of the Plug Power solution for customers



' Acts as the conduit for commercial financing situations between banking partners and customers in order to drive deals to closure



' Lends expertise and support to business development activities by analyzing current financial data and modeling forward-looking financial metrics; provides strategic recommendations based upon this financial due diligence process



' Prepares and provides ad hoc reporting analysis requested by executive management and department leaders as needed to support the business



Education and Experience



' BS degree required with an advanced degree or certification preferred.



' Five or more years of related work experience including equipment lease financing



' Experience in commercial finance within a publicly traded company is vastly preferred



' Proven track record of helping to drive strategic direction through financial analysis



' Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to translate complex financial metrics to diverse audiences and stakeholders



' Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively



This individual must be comfortable communicating at all levels of the organization to help drive strategic decision-making. The Commercial Finance Manager plays an important role to ensure the fiscal health of business activities while positioning the Company for the achievement of financial targets and optimal revenue positions.
