Job Description

In this role you will manage direct interaction with business stakeholders and IT-portfolio owners. You will handle the Key User network in collaboration with the solution leader.

In this role you will belong to the organization Strategy, Architecture and Systems (SAS) which is a part of Volvo CE Technology. On the global SAS schedule we prioritize the formation and implementation of a fast growing IT-agenda that will bring us towards being one of the prominent organizations within this area. We are convinced that this is a major activity in maintaining our position as a leading company within our industry.

Your mission will be to take the complete responsibility to secure the end user, business and IT requirements for the CreO solution and support its full utilization.
 
CreO is implemented in Volvo CE, thus, you will be participating both in the runtime activities for the live environment, as well as deeply involved in project activities for rolling out the next steps globally. CreO usage will be extended outside of Road Machinery.
 
Summary

As Solution Process Developer (SPD) you will be responsible to support the development and implementation of solution processes that tie various business processes into a harmonized & optimized way of working while managing/maintaining process adaptations and any necessary variants at the local site/organization. The position has four goals:
  • Increase end user productivity
  • Improve satisfaction for end users and managers of all supported functions
  • Fulfill the role of process developer.
  • Fulfill the role of global key users for solutions you are in charge of and lead VCE network of key users for those solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain process documentation for the usage of related systems and tools.
  • Manage requirements on the solution with the BSPM and share them with BSL. Participate in roadmap definition.
  • Ensure that satisfaction measurements of the process and tools concerned are done and improve continuously.
  • Specify requirements for the systems and tools used by the process. Configure the system when possible.
  • Plan and execute the training with ITS for processes and tools.
  • Support Feasibility, Concept studies and rollout of solutions and tools with Strategic Projects CPM.
  • Participate in verification and validation activities of process and supporting tools.
Success Factors
  • Experience in area design environments
  • Very good technical knowledge of CreO PTC CAD tool
  • Experience in IS/IT system environments
  • Experience with virtual team management
  • Occasional travel required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in the engineering design environment
  • Experience of multicultural working environment
